This is a factory picture of the CTX700D that is on the current wishlist. Cheri will get this one as her first "real" motorcycle after warming up with a Vespa LX150 and Piaggio BV500. This one is a twist and go (automatic transmission) with ABS brakes. The 670cc engine and windshield will make freeway riding practical and economic at a nominal 61 MPG
Change of plans. The fancy model with the fairings was going to take months to arrive after ordering. A "naked" version with the DCT/ABS in black became available. We could purchase it in time for a motorcycle trip on Cheri's birthday before my return to work in San Diego (expected mid-July). The bike we purchased is pictured below.
